Satyanarayan Katha · Purnima Catering
Under the full moon,
a bowl of sheera.
Satyanarayan is the quietest pooja we cater. No band, no buffet clatter — just a pandit turning pages, five chapters of katha, and the smell of ghee-roasted sooji rising with the incense. We serve on silver, in silence, and only when the aarti bell rings.

Purnima planning · Silent service
Give us the
purnima.
Share the moon-date, pandit's timings and headcount. We'll return a five-chapter service plan and a silver-menu quote within a moon-rise or two.
Five chapters · one evening
The katha, told with flavour.
Every Satyanarayan katha has five chapters. Our kitchen has five cues. When the pandit turns a page, we move. When he pauses, so do we.
The Merchant's Vow
The pandit opens the book. We open the katori. Warm panchamrit in silver, tulsi leaves floating, distributed in silence before the first shloka.
The Woodcutter's Fortune
Between chapters, we refill the ghee lamps and hand out cardamom water. Nobody notices we're there — that's the whole point.
The Broken Promise
The famous chapter. The room goes still. We stay stiller. When the aarti thali lifts, our team lifts the sheera bowls.
The Sacred Prasad
Sheera, panjeeri, banana, coconut — the four-part prasad. Served on a banana leaf laid on a silver tray, one guest at a time.
The Full-Moon Meal
After prasad, the satvik dinner. Puri, aloo tamatar, kaddu, kheer, jeera rice. Eaten cross-legged, unhurried, under the moon.

Sheera, panjeeri, panchamrit, banana
Four prasads.
One vow.
The four sacred offerings are non-negotiable — sheera in ghee, panjeeri crumbled fresh, panchamrit stirred cold, and a whole banana with fresh coconut. Everything else on the thali is built around them.
